Helen Oxenbury is among the most popular and critically acclaimed illustrators of her time. Her illustrations for Lewis Carroll's immortal Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and its companion, Alice through the Looking-Glass both won the prestigious Kate Greenaway medal.

We're Going on a Bear Hunt is a collaboration with Michael Rosen, one of the most popular contemporary poets and authors of books for children.  We're Going on a Bear Hunt  was the winner of the Smarties Best Children's book of the Year award, 1990.  Michael presents "Word of Mouth" on BBC Radio 4, and received the Eleanor Farjeon Award for services to children's literature in 1997.  Michael Rosen became Children's Laureate in 2007.
